SUBJECT:  Appointment of Director, Psychological and Counseling
                     Services

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Reina Juarez, Ph.D., has been selected Director of Psychological and Counseling Services. Dr. Juarez joined the Department of Psychological and Counseling Services at UCSD in 1988. For the past year, she has served as Acting Director of the department. Prior to holding that position, she was affiliated with McGill University for three years and the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health for five years. She serves as a site evaluator for the American Psychological Association Committee on Accreditation for Psychological Graduate Programs and Internships and is a commissioner for the Jurisprudence Exam for the California Board of Psychology.
