SUBJECT:  Cal-(IT)2 Day@UCSD

EXPERIENCE THE FUTURE!

A Day of Technology Demonstrations and Discussions will be held on September 24, 2003, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM on the UCSD Campus.

This event will provide a glimpse at how our world will change as a result of emerging telecommunications and information technologies; demonstrate research, development, and deployment projects; present the results of our scholars' research projects; and offer tours of selected facilities. We will also be arranging offline meetings among interested parties to extend current and seed new collaborations. Our intent for the day is to encourage maximum interaction among Cal-(IT)2 participants, partners, and visitors.

This event will provide an opportunity to share, with our UCSD industrial sponsors, the results of activities they have funded and new activities we have initiated by leveraging their support. We will also use this event to acquaint newly recruited faculty with our institute, goals, and personnel.
