SUBJECT:  Revisions to UCSD Policy and Procedure Manual 230-2 -
                     Appointment and Review of Department Chairs

The University invites comments on the revisions to UCSD Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM) 230-2, Appointment and Review of Department Chairs. The revised policy incorporates comments from the report of the Senate-Administrative Committee whose purpose was to review the current policy on appointment and review of department chairs at the School of Medicine, as well as to bring the policy in line with Academic Personnel Manual Section 245.
