2003 UCSD Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Diversity Award Program Recipients

On behalf of Acting Chancellor Marsha A. Chandler, I am pleased to announce the 2003 UCSD Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Diversity Award Program recipients.

In September, the 2003 Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Diversity Award Program was announced to the UCSD community. The announcement invited and encouraged nominations to recognize those individuals, departments and organizational units who have made outstanding contributions in support of UCSD's commitment to diversity as fundamental to carrying out the University's mission throughout the past year. A review committee comprised of representatives from the Chancellor's Office and each vice chancellor area evaluated the nominations and recommended the award recipients.

A Ceremony and Reception will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at the Institute of the Americas to recognize the following 2003 Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Diversity Award recipients:
