SUBJECT:	UCSD Electronic Communications Procedures and Practices
	PPM 135-5

The UC Electronic Communications Policy mandated that each campus develop, maintain, and publish specific procedures and practices. The UCSD Electronic Communications Procedures and Practices, PPM 135-5, effective December 1, 2004, is the campus' response. The issuance is available online at http://adminrecords.ucsd.edu/PPM/docs/135-5.pdf.

This issuance supersedes previous policies adopted by UCSD concerning its subject matter, including PPM 135-5, UCSD Electronic Mail Procedures and Practices, and PPM 135-6, UCSD Web Policy, Procedures, and Practices.

Addressees are requested to route a copy of this issuance to individuals within their department needing information on UCSD's electronic communications.
