Proposed Revised Academic Personnel Policy 260

The University invites comments on proposed revisions to Academic Personnel Policy 260 - University Professor.

The title University Professor is reserved for scholars of the highest international distinction who are recognized and respected as teachers of exceptional ability. University Professors are expected to share their talents throughout the University, for example, by visiting other UC campuses for formal and informal seminars and meetings with faculty and students.

The proposed revised policies would apply only to Academic Senate faculty.
