2004-05 Fee Increases

As you may have read in recent news reports, the University of California Board of Regents, at its May meeting, made decisions regarding the amounts to be charged for mandatory systemwide fees and tuition for the 2004-05 academic year. A letter from UC President Robert C. Dynes to UC students and parents has been posted on the StudentLink home page.

In his letter, President Dynes describes the fee increases and the new Compact with the Governor. The letter also provides URLs for two Web sites containing additional information for students and parents on budget updates and how UC students with a range of family incomes can make a UC education affordable.
