We are pleased to announce that the Early Childhood Education Center has limited spaces available in its Kindergarten and Pre-K programs. To be eligible for the Kindergarten program, children must turn 5 years old by January 31, 2005; and for the Pre-K (4-5 years) program, they must be 4 years of age before the beginning of the Fall semester. Although Kindergarten hours are between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., regular before and after hours' care is available from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Year-round State subsidized childcare is also available to faculty, staff and students. Requirements to qualify for State subsidy are based upon family size and combined monthly income, as follows:
* A family of 2 (single parent working full-time) may qualify if State subsidy quotes are based on a sliding scale and spaces available for subsidy are filled according to the need of each individual family.
