SUBJECT:	Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Diversity Award
	Nominations

The purpose of this notice is to announce the 2005 Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Diversity Awards Program. This program has been designed to recognize employees, departments or organizational units who have made an outstanding contribution in any or all areas at UCSD during the past year. Therefore, all members of the campus and Healthcare community are invited and encouraged to nominate staff colleagues who are deserving and meet a certain criteria.

A review panel of representatives chosen by the Chancellor and Vice Chancellors will evaluate all eligible nominations and recommend recipients to Chancellor Marye Anne Fox. Accordingly, the employees will be recognized and awards will be presented by the Chancellor to each recipient during the annual ceremony to be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Price Center.
