Transportation and Parking Services Thanksgiving Operations

The Transportation and Parking Services staff extend warm wishes to you and your family this Thanksgiving. For those working during the holiday weekend, please note that parking offices, booths, and kiosks will be closed from Thursday, November 24, 2005 through Sunday, November 27, 2005. Regular parking operations will resume Monday, November 28, 2005. The closure includes:

- Campus Parking Office

- Hillcrest Parking Office

- Special Events Parking

- Gilman and North Point information centers

- Both Medical Center patient/ visitor kiosks

Transportation and Parking Services will not enforce parking in A, B, or S parking spaces during the Thanksgiving holiday; however, you must continue to observe all signs regarding reserved spaces, time-controlled zones, and disabled spaces 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Campus: Park in red, green, yellow, or metered spaces without a permit or fee from 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, to 7:00 a.m. Monday, November 28.

Medical Centers: Physicians and staff may park in red, green, yellow, metered spaces, and visitor areas at the Hillcrest and Thornton Medical Centers without a permit or fee from 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23 to 6:00 a.m. Monday, November 28. Also during this time, patient/ visitor parking will be complimentary in the Hillcrest Medical Center Arbor Parking Structure, the La Jolla Medical Center lots P760 (Shiley Eye Center), P751 (Perlman Clinic/Thornton Hospital), and the new Moores Cancer Center patient/ visitor lot.
