SUBJECT:	UPDATED/REVISED CONSTRUCTION ALERT* - Voigt Drive and
	Matthews Lane

* A March 2, 2005 Construction Alert was previously issued. This revised Construction Alert includes the closures previously indicated as well as new closures on Voigt Drive due to additional work being performed in the area.

Project Description/Location

A new 12KV Switch Station is being constructed near Canyonview Aquatics Center which will provide power for future projects in the north part of campus as well as University Center. In addition, the Canyonview Aquatics Center is adding a second 50 meter pool.

Immediate Street Impacts

Beginning on Thursday, March 10, 2005 and continuing through Thursday, March 17, 2005, a portion of Voigt Drive south of Canyonview Pool will be subject to intermittent one-way traffic between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as underground ducts are being installed. Then, beginning on Friday, March 18, 2005 and continuing through Wednesday, April 13, 2005, Voigt Drive and the intersection of Voigt Drive and Matthews Lane will be subject to intermittent one way traffic between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as new utility lines are installed. Traffic control, including flagmen, will be present to direct traffic in both directions during these times so please expect some delays.
