************************************************************************

The UCSD Academic Senate recently enacted significant revisions to the Policy on Integrity of Scholarship (http://www-senate.ucsd.edu/manual/Appendices/app2.htm), which became effective in Fall Quarter 2003.

CEP has been charged with reviewing the effectiveness of this policy and we are requesting your assistance. The Committee would value your answers to a short list of questions.

To answer the below questions, click on this link http://www-senate.ucsd.edu/CEPSurvey/

1. Have you taken precautions against cheating in your courses?
2. Has cheating been detected in your course(s)?
3. Have you taken action against suspected cheaters?
4. Have you reported cheating?
5. Have you used formal campus procedures for reporting cheating?
6. Were you satisfied with the process?
7. Please relay any comments or suggestions.

Please respond by April 15, 2005. All responses will be treated as confidential.

CEP thanks you for your input.
