SUBJECT: Come and Achieve the Extraordinary at the Staff Appreciation

Picnic

Don't forget to attend the annual All Staff Appreciation Picnic, brought to you by the UCSD staff associations, to be held Friday, August 12, 2005, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Sun God Lawn. "Achieving the Extraordinary" is a tropical island theme for this year's picnic. All members of the campus community are encouraged to attend.

Supervisors are encouraged to grant employees two hours of release time in addition to the regular half-hour for lunch to attend the picnic if the absence does not infringe upon the performance of required job duties.

Free parking will be available in lots 207 and 208 (north of Muir College) during the picnic.

I hope that you can join the UCSD staff associations and other members of the UCSD family for the "Achieving the Extraordinary" All Staff Appreciation Picnic.
