The growth and success of UC San Diego depend upon staff who support the research, teaching, clinical, and community activities of the campus. New tools and technology -- developed by academic and administrative staff -- help us meet challenges and sustain the excellence that UC San Diego has achieved.

The tenth annual Sharecase event is returning March 29 to the Price Center with presentations and exhibits highlighting the newest technology developments for staff and faculty. This daylong event will include live demonstrations of exciting new tools and features, including:

* Tritonlink 1.0 and the new Wait List System

* Next Generation Network 2

* MyFunds: Reporting for PIs and Fund Managers

* Marketplace

* MyTravel

* QueryLink in support of research

* Single Sign-On roles and affiliates

* Blink version 2.0

* Search for faculty research interests

* eForms

On March 29th, join us in the exhibit hall for demonstrations and great ideas from vendors and campus service providers, along with giveaways and a free lunch for registered attendees. Sharecase has a tropical theme, so be sure to wear your aloha shirt.

I encourage supervisors to release staff to attend job-related presentations as work permits. This is a wonderful development opportunity for attendees to obtain information on a variety of topics.
