New UCSD Visa Travel and Entertainment Card Program

Since 1985, UCSD Travel has been providing travel and entertainment cards to all employees for convenience in making travel arrangements and for paying for travel and entertainment. UCSD Travel is pleased to announce that our campus will be joining the UC initiative to consolidate all individual travel card programs into one card type and with one sponsoring financial institution to gain maximum benefits.

The present Diners Club MasterCard is being replaced with a UCSD Visa Travel and Entertainment Card (UCSD Travel Card).

Employees currently participating in the Diners Club MasterCard program will automatically receive a new UCSD Travel Card for their official university business travel and entertainment. Cards can be activated after December 1, 2006.

Current cardholders may use their UCSD Diners MasterCards through November 30, when the cards will be cancelled.
