Let's Meet Marye Anne's Challenge!

Join me in supporting Chancellor Fox on October 20 when she leads the 11th annual Chancellor's Challenge 5K Run/Walk for Scholars.

As members of the UCSD community, we truly understand the tremendous potential of our students - together we can really make a difference in the lives of these bright and talented young people.

Since the first Chancellor's Challenge 5K, UCSD faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends have joined together to raise more than $1.5 million in scholarships for undergraduate students. This effort has supported Chancellor's Scholars - high merit, high need undergraduates - and has greatly expanded our undergraduate research scholarship program, providing opportunities for students to explore their research interests while pursuing their undergraduate studies.

You may register online at http://www.ucsd.edu/5k before midnight October 18. You may also register the day before at RIMAC, October 19 from 3:30-5 p.m., and get your race number and t-shirt at that time.
