SUBJECT:	Appointment of Director of Student Policies and
	Judicial Affairs

It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Anthony Valladolid as Director of Student Policies and Judicial Affairs, effective Monday, March 20, 2006.

Tony is currently serving as Interim Director of SP&JA, and has served as Director of Student Legal Services since 1990. He is an alumnus of UCSD and UC Berkeley law school, and practiced law and managed his own law firm before returning to UCSD. He is well-versed in University student policies and regulations, and is deeply committed to student development, social justice, and community service.
