CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Voigt Lane

Project Description/Location

The Hopkins Parking Structure is a 1450 space parking garage which will supply much needed parking to the North Campus. This parking structure is scheduled for completion in June 2007. The project is located at the intersection of Hopkins Drive and Voigt Lane.

Immediate Street Impacts

Beginning on March 27, 2006 and continuing until December 2006, Voigt Lane, west of Hopkins Drive has been reduced to one lane of traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Flagman will be present to direct traffic during this time. From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. both lanes will be open but, areas of excavation in the street will be covered with steel plates. Care should be observed when crossing these plates. Heavy construction traffic and traffic delays should be expected during work hours.
