CONSTRUCTION ALERT - Price Center Expansion

Project Description/Location

The Price Center Expansion represents additions totaling 173,000 gross sq. ft. to the Price Center and Bookstore along with a phased remodeling of the Bookstore. Renderings and a model of the project have been in the lobby of the Price Center for a few months. All existing functions within the Price Center will be active and accessible for the entire duration of construction.

Immediate Street Impacts

Beginning on May 31, 2006 and continuing until June 23, 2006, soil will be removed from the construction site in order to build the new underground loading dock for the Price Center. Trucks will exit the site at Matthews Lane, continue along Voigt Drive, turn north at Campus Point Drive and exit the campus on to Genessee Ave. There may be some congestion and delays along these streets as there will be approximately 100 loads per day.
