SUBJECT:    Crime Alert Bulletin

The San Diego Police Department has requested the assistance of the UCSD community in identifying a rapist that assualted two UCSD students off campus. With the recent development of DNA that connects the two rapes, the San Diego Police Department believes the attacker could live in the area of University City. Police are warning women in several La Jolla neighborhoods near UCSD to be aware of their surroundings and to pay attention to anyone who might match the suspect description.

Anyone with information about the attacks or the assailant is asked to call the San Diego Police sex crimes unit at (619)531-2210 or Crime Stoppers at (888)580-TIPS(8477).

Members of the UCSD community are urged to immediately report any suspicious activity on campus to the UCSD Police Department at (858)534-4357.
