Dear Colleagues:
Our sixth meeting of the 2005-06 academic year is scheduled for Thursday, June 8 at 3:30 p.m., in Room 107 of the Leichtag Building (please note the change in location). The Notice of Meeting (agenda) and all pertinent documents may be found on the Senate's Web page at:

We will have the pleasure of acting on a set of nominations for the Senate 2005-06 Faculty Research Lecturer Awards and will receive a report on the status of the University budget from Professor Andrew Dickson, Chair of the Committee on Planning and Budget. In addition, the Assembly will be asked to consider enactment of academic Regulations governing the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) graduate programs, previously approved by the Representative Assembly.
The issue of Student-Athlete Grants-in-Aid returns to the Assembly at this meeting. Last October, the Assembly re-committed the revised proposal for consideration by the same committee review process as was used last year for this matter. That deliberative process has been completed, and the Senate Council's report will be submitted for the Assembly's consideration.
