Emergency Response Exercise - August 22

To further prepare the campus to respond and recover from emergency situations, the campus will conduct a terrorist-based emergency exercise between 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Atkinson Hall. If you are not directly involved in this exercise, please use this opportunity to review with colleagues and family what to do in the event of a disaster. Please review the campus Emergency Management Plan, your Department Emergency Action Plan, and your Personal Supplies Checklist for emergency events. To ensure our campus is prepared for any emergency event, EH&S has developed a Campus Emergency Response Team, known as CERT. I appreciate the participation of CERT members in the emergency response exercise and am grateful to their supervisors to allowing them to attend this important event.
