Geisel Library closing at 2pm 9/15/06

On September 15th, the UCSD Libraries will be hosting an event in the lobby of Geisel Library. To allow for preparation for this event, the front doors of the Geisel Library building will close to library users starting at 2 p.m. and all users need to be out of the building by 2:15. Libraries affected by this closing are the Social Sciences & Humanities Library, the Science & Engineering Library, Mandeville Special Collections Library, and all the Arts Libraries.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this early closing may cause. All online services will continue to be accessible through the Libraries website at http://libraries.ucsd.edu and all libraries outside of Geisel will have regular Friday hours (for hours information, see http://libraries.ucsd.edu/services/hours.html ). Geisel library users may want to plan to do work at another location that afternoon. Geisel will reopen for regular hours on Saturday morning.
