The original Biomedical Library, which first opened in 1969, has been completely renovated and almost doubled in size. The new building features a grand reading room, an information commons, group study rooms, and a 24-hour study facility. With abundant natural light, comfortable seating, and an outstanding collection, we now have a Biomedical Library that can support the cutting-edge biomedical research, outstanding instructional programs, and top quality healthcare for which UCSD is famous.
