Dear Colleagues:
Our third meeting of the 2006-07 academic year is scheduled for Tuesday,
March 6 at 3:30 p.m., in Bonner Hall, Room 2130. Please note the change
in date and venue. The Notice of Meeting (agenda) and all pertinent
documents may be found on the Senate's Web page at:

In addition to considering a report from the Graduate Council, the Assembly will hear reports from two Senate committees. The Committee on Academic Personnel will report on revisions proposed by Senior Vice Chancellor Chandler to two PPMs dealing with academic personnel matters, and the Report of the Senate Task Force on Faculty Service will be discussed. Both are matters of importance to the Senate, and I hope and expect stimulating discussions of each.
