Chancellor's Town Hall for Staff

Please join me on Monday, September 17, for a Staff Town Hall meeting. This is an opportunity to communicate directly, share concerns, discuss ideas and ask questions. I will also provide an update on campus initiatives.

The Town Hall meeting will be from noon to 1 p.m. at The Great Hall on the Eleanor Roosevelt College campus. Parking is available in the Pangea parking structure directly across the street from The Great Hall, or you may use the regularly scheduled shuttle service.

Staff from the UCSD Medical Centers are welcome to attend the Staff Town Hall on campus. However, I will also hold separate Town Hall meetings at both UCSD Medical Center - Thornton Hospital, La Jolla, and UCSD Medical Center, Hillcrest, on Friday, September 21. All UCSD Medical Center staff will receive a separate email with details on these Town Hall meetings.

In order to allow employees the opportunity to attend the event, one (1) hour of administrative leave with pay has been approved. All managers and supervisors are asked to allow employees to attend, as long as the absence does not infringe upon the performance of required job duties or patient care.
