The Revelle College Provost Search Committee will soon begin reviewing nominations and applications. I am writing to remind you that we would like to receive nominations for the Provost position by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2008. Candidates must hold a full-time, tenured faculty position (including LSOEs) in one of UCSD's academic departments.

All nominations will be confidential, and you need not seek the approval of the individual(s) you wish to nominate. We will contact each nominee and encourage them to accept candidacy. You may send your nominations by electronic mail, in confidence, to:
