On-line W-2 Statements

For calendar year 2008, the University is once again offering its employees the opportunity to receive their 2008 W-2 online through UCOP's At Your Service Online (AYSO) self-service web application. This presentment provides employees with a faster and more secure method of distribution. It also eliminates delays associated with the mailing of paper statements to home addresses and provides employees with the convenience of acquiring and accessing their form W-2 at any time from any location.

To take advantage of viewing and printing your W-2 online you will need to make a positive election by Wednesday, December 31, 2008. The anticipated date of availability is January 20, 2009. For detailed instructions on how to make this election go to:

If you made the election last year for an online W-2, you will not have to re-elect this option. Your election will remain in effect until you change it.

Employees who have not previously made an election and wish to continue to receive a paper W-2 at their home address will not have to take any action. However, it is important that you verify that your home address is correct in our payroll system (PPS) as the Post Office does not forward W-2s given the confidential information they contain. Mailing date for paper W-2 statements is anticipated to be near the federal deadline of January 31, 2009. For instructions on how to verify or change your home address go to:
