Human Resources Update 2008/2009

The Human Resources Department is pleased to invite you to attend the HR Update 2008/2009, which will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in the Price Center West Ballrooms, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This event will provide a recap of the important human resource issues and initiatives that occurred at the UC San Diego campus and in the UC system in 2008 as well as an overview of what to expect in 2009. The HR Update will be comprehensive and feature presentations from each of the division directors of the Human Resources Department. Presentations will include topics in the areas of recruitment/hiring, total compensation, career development, workforce diversity, employee support services, succession planning, and work/life programs.

The HR Update provides a "one stop shopping" opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from each of the divisions, and get answers to your questions, arrange follow-up appointments with Human Resources staff, and provide your input and suggestions on the spectrum of human resources issues.
