Beijing Olympic Village Tour, Summer 2008

Visit the Beijing Olympic Village this summer just before the opening of China's 2008 Olympic Games! Restricted from all public access, the Legends of China Foundation has made special arrangements with the City of Beijing to get UCSD travelers in for a very unique and highly memorable tour! This will be an event to remember for a lifetime. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: APRIL 15th.

UCSD faculty staff, faculty, students and alumni are invited to China as part of The Silk Road to the Future. Climb the GREAT WALL; see the FORBIDDEN CITY, SUMMER PALACE and TEMPLE OF HEAVENLY PEACE. Travel to high TIBET and the HIMALAYAS, take an incredible THREE GORGES river cruise. Visit XI'AN where the vast TERRA COTTA WARRIOR ARMY is being excavated by Chinese archaeologists, along with the tomb of China's FIRST EMPEROR. Explore living history! Family members are eligible.

OLYMPIC VILLAGE TOUR SPACE IS VERY LIMITED so register ASAP.
