With unencouraging news regarding the state budget on the front page of almost every edition of the newspaper, it's hard not be concerned about the potential impact on the University of California. I'd like to bring to your attention UC for California, UC's dynamic advocacy support network, which can be found at http://www.ucforcalifornia.org. This provides you with an easy conduit for making your opinion known on a variety of current issues facing UC. Faculty views are actively sought, and taken seriously, by legislators, and in the current budget climate you may wish to contribute to the discussion.
