Appointment of Interim Director - Institutional Research

I am pleased to announce that Christine Hurley has agreed to serve as Interim Director of Institutional Research. Christine is filling the position held by Mary O'Neil, who recently elected to retire after 20 years of outstanding service to the University. Since graduating from UCSD with a degree in Economics, Christine has held progressively more responsible staff positions over the past 17+ years, including her most recent tenure in Capital Planning where she coordinated the advancement of non-State funded capital improvement building projects at UCSD. Christine's analytical and managerial skills make her exceptionally well suited to serve as Interim Director, where some of her key responsibilities will include the development of utilization analyses of classrooms and class laboratories, administration of FacilitiesLink (the graphic and tabular space inventory for the campus), space need analyses that are required to secure State funds for capital improvements, enrollment plans, and faculty workload analyses.
