U.S. Open Golf Championship - Campus Briefing

We realize there may be outstanding questions about campus activities, particularly as they pertain to your work day and the overall functioning of the campus during the 2008 U.S. Open Golf Championship at nearby Torrey Pines during the week of June 9-15. We have attempted to answer some of these questions with postings on the UCSD U.S. Open web site, http://usopen.ucsd.edu, and through many periodic announcements over the last 12 months from departmental directors. To augment this information and have an open discussion, we invite you to join us for a briefing on Friday, May 2, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in Price Center Ballroom A. Representatives from campus departments will be on hand to give an overview of parking and rapid transit availability, safety and security, staffing and schedules, finals and the many other major issues generated by this one-of-a-kind event being held so close to our campus.
