Fleet Services Fueling Station Shutdown

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 and continuing until approximately 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008 unleaded gas from the fueling station on the main campus will not be available.

During this time State of California Air Pollution Control District mandated upgrades will be made to the vapor recovery system. This upgrade will have a positive impact on the environment as it will restrict fuel vapors from being released into the atmosphere.

Please ensure that all University vehicles that require unleaded fuel are filled prior to this time. Fleet Services staff will be available to assist with emergency fueling needs at a local gas station during this time, if necessary. The diesel fuel pumps should not be affected.
