Chair of the UC San Diego Council of Provosts (COP)

It is my pleasure to announce that Steven Adler, Provost of Warren College, began serving as Chair of the Council of Provosts (COP), effective July 1, 2008. Membership on the Council of Provosts includes the Provosts from each of UCSD's six undergraduate colleges, and the COP Chair position rotates among the six Provosts, who typically serve a two-year term. The Chair of COP serves as the leader, spokesperson, and primary contact for the college Provosts.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dan Wulbert, Provost of Revelle College, for his service as COP Chair for the past two academic years and welcome Provost Steven Adler as he takes on this important leadership position. COP Chair Adler can be reached by email at sadler@ucsd.edu.
