SUBJECT:	CONSTRUCTION ALERT - Scholars Drive South, Mandell Weiss Lane,
	Herbert York Lane

Project Description/Location:

The Theatre District Cooling project will require installation of two chilled water pipelines in Herbert York Lane (next to the Central Utility Plant), in Scholars Drive South (west from Herbert York Lane), and in Mandell Weiss Lane to the Mandell Weiss Theatre. Installation will include future connection points for the Dance Facility and the Mandell Weiss Forum. These lines will provide energy and cost savings for air conditioning the Theatre.

Immediate Street Impacts:

Beginning August 1 and ending September 30, 2008 there may be partial one-way traffic, controlled by flagmen, during the heavy construction traffic and trenching operations phase along the installation route. Waiting time will be kept to a minimum and every effort will be made to maintain one lane of traffic flow at all times.
