Appointment of Director - Capital Planning

I am pleased to announce that Cara Fladd assumed responsibilities as Director of Capital Planning on July 1, 2008. Since graduating from UCSD with a degree in Economics, Cara has held progressively more responsible staff positions over the past 17 years, with the majority of her time working at UCSD split between the Registrar's Office and Capital Planning. She spent the last three years at the Office of the President, most recently as Assistant Director - Capital Program Development in the Systemwide Budget Office where she developed the University's State-funded capital program and assisted with the day-to-day operation of the Capital Program Unit.
