SUBJECT:	Reappointment of Robert Sullivan as Dean of the
	Rady School of Management

I am pleased to announce that, subsequent to a very successful five-year review, Chancellor Fox and I have asked Robert Sullivan to continue as Dean of the Rady School of Management. As the inaugural Dean of the Rady School of Management, Dean Sullivan has established high standards for the quality of the school. He played an essential role in pursuing, promoting, and implementing the vision set out for the school at its inception. Under his leadership, faculty and staff recruitment has been strong; new programs at the undergraduate, MBA and PhD level have been developed; and fundraising has been very successful.

We are enormously pleased that the Rady School of Management and the campus will continue to benefit from Dean Sullivan’s outstanding leadership. Chancellor Fox and I very much appreciate the review committee members’ thorough work, as well as their insightful suggestions as the school moves forward.
