Join parents and family members and the UC San Diego community for first annual campus-wide Family Weekend 2008, October 25 - 26, 2008. Family Weekend is a significant campus tradition that will bring together the campus and extended UC San Diego communities - parents, grandparents, guardians, and family members! The weekend will feature college-specific events, visits to the Birch Aquarium or Calit2 facilities, options to see a play at the world-renowned La Jolla Playhouse, and opportunities to cheer on our athletes or try your skills at Outback Adventures' indoor climbing wall.
Family Weekend is not just for family members of first-year students - it is for the entire campus community! Therefore, we encourage you to invite your parents and family members to register for the weekend. Register on the Parents & Families web site, parents.ucsd.edu. Early registration ends October 10, 2008. Questions regarding Family Weekend registration can be directed to parents@ucsd.edu or the Parent Helpline, (858)534-7273.
