Education Facility

Project Description/Location

The Telemedicine & PRIME-HEq Education Facility will provide approximately 98,000 OGSF of new construction. The project includes space for Telemedicine Training Center, Telemedicine Consultation Center, Clinical Skills Training and Medical Simulation Center, Student PRIME Services, Administration Center, a small Café and Auditorium.

The building consists of three stories with a basement below. The building is sited in the center of the School of Medicine.

Immediate Street Impacts

Beginning in mid-October 2009 and continuing until September of 2011, vehicular traffic around the site and on adjacent streets will be impacted at times to accommodate construction activities and utility installation. There will be occasions when Osler Lane will be limited to one lane of traffic. During these times, flagmen will be present to direct traffic. Pedestrian sidewalks adjacent to the site will remain open throughout the duration of the Project. Updates will be provided throughout the construction period.
