Road Closure: Lyman Lane

Associated Students Concerts & Events will be hosting Fall Fest on Warren Field this Friday, October 9, 2009, 7:30 to Midnight. In support of safe entry and egress for participants, Lyman Lane will be closed to all traffic from 6:00pm - Midnight. Access to the Matthews Lane turn-around will blocked to vehicles throughout that time.

In addition, the shuttle stop located on the Warren Field side of Voigt Drive will be off-line throughout the day on October 9. The Campus Loop and Regents/East Parking shuttles will not utilize that stop on Friday. Parking near the Warren Field will be heavily impacted and we encourage you to find alternate parking to help ease congestion and facilitate pedestrian traffic to the festival.

As this event will take place outdoors please be aware that music may be heard throughout the campus and the surrounding community. UCSD Police and campus staff will be on site for the duration of the event to monitor sound levels and all amplified sound will end by 11:30 p.m. If you have questions or concerns on the evening of the event please feel free to contact the UCSD Police Department at (858) 534-4357.
