SUBJECT:    Libraries Winter Holiday Schedule --- December 19, 2009
to January 3, 2010

Hours In recognition of the all-campus closure during the 2009 holiday season, all UCSD Libraries will be closed December 19, 2009 through January 3, 2010. All libraries will reopen on January 4, 2010. For a complete schedule of library hours, go to
http://libraries.ucsd.edu/services/hours.html

Course Reserves

Due to the extended all-campus holiday closure, instructors who plan to offer library-supported course reserves during Winter Quarter 2010 should submit their requests NOW to allow sufficient time for processing and posting in advance of the quarter. Submissions received after December 12 will be processed as quickly as possible and in the order in which they are received, but requested materials will likely not be available for student use until after Winter quarter instruction has begun. Course lists may be submitted via
http://libraries.ucsd.edu/services/reserves-form.html

Electronic Resources

Many online resources, including databases and electronic journals, will remain accessible during the closure. Off-campus access to library-supported restricted resources is available through the campus proxy server or VPN. For more information, go to
http://libraries.ucsd.edu/services/computing/remote-access/index.html
