SUBJECT:	CONSTRUCTION ALERT – North Campus Housing Phase 2 Project -
	Tree Removal at Parking Lot P357

Project Description/Location:

On March 24, 2009, tree removal within and around Parking Lot P357 will commence.

The work will continue for three consecutive days and will result in various parking spaces being temporarily unavailable until the work is completed. This scope of work represents the initial portion of the construction related to the new North Campus Housing Phase 2 project which is scheduled to commence in May 2009. The North Campus Housing Phase 2 has been anticipated under the UCSD Master Plan and the North Campus Neighborhood Planning Study and will consist of 807 - 4, 5 & 6-bedroom student apartments as well as support areas.

Parking Lot Impact:

Beginning March 24, 2009 to March 26, 2009 tree removal work within and around P357 will occur. This work will not impact vehicular traffic; however, some parking spaces will be blocked off while others remain open as the work progresses.
