ALL ACADEMICS AND STAFF AT UCSD ALL STUDENTS AT UCSD
Graduating seniors, graduate students, family members, friends and alumni are all invited to participate in the second annual All Campus Graduation Celebration on Friday, June 12, at 5 p.m. on RIMAC field. The campus-wide event will include an alumni grad mixer, picnic-style dinner, fireworks display and ceremony where Mike Judge, '85, an alumnus of UC San Diego and creator behind "Office Space" and "King of the Hill," will serve as keynote speaker. At UC San Diego, we are proud of all of our graduates. In total, we will confer more than 6,000 degrees in June. In addition to your very personal college commencements, I encourage you to celebrate at the All Campus Graduation Celebration with your friends from across the six colleges and graduate schools. The event will begin with an alumni and grad mixer followed by a ceremony where the Senior Class gift will be announced and Outstanding Senior and Graduate Student awards will be presented. Following the ceremony will be a post-reception with food, beverages, fireworks show, and a performance by Lady Dottie and the Diamonds. The All Campus Graduation Celebration is the final event of Senior Spring, a celebratory quarter of activities, networking events and career-building opportunities designed especially for seniors during the last 10 weeks before graduation. Tickets for the All Campus Graduation Celebration are free for students, $10 for guests, and can be picked up at the UCSD Box Office. I also want our graduates to remember that UC San Diego will always be your university. We want you to stay connected and get involved with our alumni groups, creating your Triton for life network.
