CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Health Sciences Graduate and Professional Student Housing: Major Concrete Pour

Project Description/Location:
The Health Sciences Graduate and Professional Student Housing will consist of 225 – 2-bedroom apartment units and one 2-bedroom staff apartment. The site covers approximately 4.5 acres which is currently occupied by UCSD parking lot P608. Access to the new Health Sciences Graduate and Professional Student Housing will be provided by an extension of the fire lane road west of the UCSD Pharmacy building.

Immediate Street Impacts:
Beginning on Saturday July 11, 2009 at 2:00 am and continuing until 2:00 pm the same day, the contractor on the Health Sciences Graduate Student Housing Project will be conducting a major concrete pour. During this time Osler Lane and the fire lane west of the School of Pharmacy will be reduced to one lane with traffic control in place for public safety.
