New Index Management Campus Application

We are pleased to announce the creation of a web-based application that facilitates the process of department level index management.

The new Index Management application gives fiscal campus users the ability to perform the following functions from a new web portal within FinancialLink:

- Perform an Index Copy (The ability to create new sub indexes)
- Reactivate an inactive Index
- Change the name/description of an Index
- Change the official title of an Index
- Create an early inactivation date for an Index (cease new purchase order charges)
- Request creation of new master index from general accounting
- Inactivate an existing index (Available to campus late 2010)

This application was developed as a joint effort between the General Accounting office and the Administrative Computing & Telecommunications department.

To get started, visit the FinancialLink main page and select "Tools" from the toolbar, then select "Index Management".
