Post-Employment Benefits Meeting, May 3, 2010, Noon

Dear Colleagues: Academic Council Chair Henry Powell and Vice Chair Daniel Simmons will be on campus on May 3 for a discussion with interested faculty regarding Post-Employment Benefits. The meeting will take place from Noon - 2 p.m. in the Forum, Price Center East, 4th floor.

This discussion will be a complement to that provided on April 7 by the President's Task Force on Post-Employment Benefits. That Task Force is developing recommendations to the President regarding changes in retirement and health benefits. The purpose of the visit by Chair Powell and Vice Chair Simmons is to provide an opportunity for faculty to become further informed about the options being considered. A detailed explanatory glossary of terms and options has been prepared by Vice Chair Simmons and is available on the Senate web site at:
