The Rapid Redesign II EPET team has developed a new payroll cost transfer system to replace the existing paper process. The new system is referred to as the Electronic Payroll Expense Transfer (EPET) and has been designed to accelerate the process with improved accuracy, built in edits, internal controls and reduction in effort. The process is designed to save time and resources for department staff and central offices. The new system is currently in a pilot phase, where a limited number of departments are using the system. The system will be open to the general campus on June 1, 2010. Employees who intend to use the Electronic Payroll Expense Transfer system are required to complete the EPET online training available at Enrollment Central https://enrollmentcentral.ucsd.edu. The EPET tutorial will be available to the campus May 1, 2010. DSAs may request access to EPET using AccessLink beginning May 25, 2010.
