SUBJECT:    Search for the Interim Director of the Sustainability
Solutions Institute (SSI)

The Search Committee for the Interim Director of the Sustainability Solutions Institute (SSI) is accepting nominations for the position of Interim SSI Director. The mission of SSI, a research program at UCSD, is to bring together multidisciplinary teams of researchers from the campus and around the world to help solve key sustainability problems. Candidates must possess academic qualifications and hold a tenured senior level academic appointment at the University of California, San Diego.

Applications (CV and statement of interest) and nominations may be submitted, in confidence, by email to: Dean Robert Sullivan, Chair of the Search Committee (rssullivan@ucsd.edu). Applications will be accepted through May 31, 2010. The person selected will begin July 1, 2010 for a 3-year term.
