May 25, 2010 Meeting

Dear Colleagues:

Our final meeting of the 2009-10 academic year is scheduled for Tuesday, May 25 at 3:30 p.m., in the Center for Molecular Genetics Conference Room. The Notice of Meeting (agenda) and all pertinent documents may be found on the Senate's Web page at:

SPECIAL DISCUSSIONS: The Committee on Diversity and Equity will update the Assembly on its work this year, especially during the past couple of months. The Committee on Library will also provide an update on open access, and University Librarian Schottlaender will give a report on the libraries' budget.

Under regular business, the Committee on Educational Policy has submitted a proposal to amend the Divisional Regulation 501(A), the add deadline, and the Health Sciences Faculty have submitted revisions to the Bylaws of the Health Sciences Faculty and the Bylaws of the School of Medicine Faculty.
